So, today was pretty eventful. Managed to squeeze Lakshmi from Bembol Rockers in for a tattoo due to an appointment re-scheduling, and that awesome super top secret object(s) i ordered off ebay arrived! 

So here's lakshi's arm....Super excited to do this, i love Ganesh and the only Ganesh piece i've ever done was teeny weeny, so got to fit a lot more detail into this one! (he insisted i signed it too....which was kinda weird! haha)

So, long story short, Bembol Rockers are back in town, so i'm kinda compelled to go out drinking every night coz they are playing many many gigs. Yesterday was kinda non-eventful. I did 4 hrs work on the c'o'd phoenix, didn't get it finished, he was bleeding like his life didn't depend on it, probably coulda filled a paddling pool, but other than that, i went for a pre-X'mas family lunch, my brothers coi tattoo healed up super sweet. The harbor looked incredible, and it was hot. Like, "who needs a sweater" hot!

So last night we went to go see The Bembol Guys play at Rock School

, then we went to Amazonia, then at 4am when i got home i decided to bake cookies. Cookies (peanut butter n choc chip) came out awesome, but i burnt both hands on the oven. I have a cute matching pair of blisters now, and wearing gloves at work kinda sucks..... a lot.

We have 2 new village puppies who are super friendly... i think they tried to rape me a little....

(they both need homes, so GIVE THEM A HOME PEOPLE!)

Anyways, today was busy busy, started off with.... a line... (not that kinda line, you deviant bastards)

Then i had 2 hrs put aside before my next booking for Ross, we got this done, it ain't finished (obviously, but got a fair amount done... (this is the other side of his chest to his "sweet as a nut" squirrel)

Then off to see the Bembol guys again. Looks like i'll be tattooing Lakshmi (double bassist) tomorrow coz i had an app move to Jan, i also gotta try and find some time to squeeze in another piece for Mark, who got tattoos last time round too....

Bembol Rockers...again

OK, so last post bout the Bembol Rockers, and a few pics from their stint at the ever wonderful Ned Kelly's....

I was in charge of their merch table so i don't get too many good shots, but Colin (the regular bandleader) took loads, so i will try and get some off him.....

Lakshmi spent half the night bouncing around from table to table, not very easy to get pics of though!

Looks like they might be back over in Dec to play another show, so keep your eyes n ears open!

So, last night i held a huge huge huge spider.... i came to realize most stuff is ok if it's furry.... 




ok, so quick post as it's 4:30am and i'm super tired, but if i don't do this now.... it just won't happen. so here's some pics from last night's zombie mayhem...... 

These 2 guys are planning on opening a rockabilly shop in HK, selling lucky 13, layrite pomade and other goodies.... we might stock some stuff for them while they are still planning on opening so keep ur eyes peeled......

obviously i have more pice of the bembol rockers, more from tonight to be honest (coz i was stuck working the door at Rock School.... so i'll post more tomoLLLLLow!

oh, and in case y'all were wondering.... you can fit a double bass in a HK taxi..... it's a tight squeeze though!!!!

the night after the night before....

So super speeeeedy post about last night...and tonight. Firstly, i wanna thank everyone who came to the zombie party last night, it was a real success, and we made enough to cover the Bembol Rockers flights, their hotel rooms etc etc, and we managed to pay the bar (those "free drinks" were'nt really free ya see!)so once again THANK Y"ALL! For anyone who didn't quite get enough of them, they are the special guest house band at Ned Kelly's tonight, so rock on down. They will be playing from half nine til the hours of the morning. (don't forget to bring your dancing shoes)

Ross had to go do another radio interview today, so he took the camera, hence why no pics on this post, but i will post pics from last night and tonight either later tonight/tomorrow.... so be patient. OK i gotta go meet the band, and depending on traffic swing by the studio to do some quick drawing for tomorrows pieces. (doing a nice owl tomorrow on a guys ribs).....lovely jubbly!

so today the Bembol Rockers rocked up..... I owed Marc, the singer a tattoo, and i keep my promises. ...

Before that, we had good ol' Pat... none of you will know who i'm talking bout, but i feel the need to mention him, coz he guarded the shop while ross was at the airport pickin up the band.... 10 points pat.! love you long time.....

so today we had Sam's second session on his chest piece....and none of y'all will believe me..... but.....drum roll...... are y'all sitting down?...... i used a MAGNUM! i never use mag's....i'm that girl who does everything with a round shader..... and for some reason, coz of the scale of shit, and coz we had a 2 hour limit for the black shading.... i thought "what the fuck, lets try these fancy bollocky things"....now i hate mags, so so so much. i think the redeeeming feature today was the fact it was a 14 mag, see.... i always figured i work my up from a 5.... and one day i'll like mags. didnt happen. my normal (when i say normal i mean every single set up is a 5RL, and a loose 14RS textured. ) every piece i do..... ever......

i will not say i'm sold on the mag.... but i definately feel small mags suck, i was wasting my time, coz i always thought, why use a 5 mag when i'm more happy using a 14RS?! (ooooh, does this count as a tattoo school? can y'all pay me 10,000HKD) i dunno, i did a post like this a year ago, when i crazily used a mag.... and nothing ever came of it. we'll see......

so heres what we got done this time....

So after work, we all went to none other than Ned Kelly's The band missed it, and for anyone interested, they'll be playing all night this sun, from 9:30pm til 1am. 

Word of advise, do not bring up Morrissey to them and me in the same room, how can "you love someone" and still slate them,..... let's not go there y'all! (and i left my i-pod at the studio, so chances are i will not be singing a song with y'all tomorrow, i kinda needed at least an hour or 2 to learn shit....but we'll see.....   :(      !)

And to top the night off, none other than a very suspicious maybe suitcase bomb....

I can't understand why some pics come up large and some don't on blogger, i didnt even resize this, but the note says "please throw this suitcase away thank you"....... creepy, i was expecting to find a chopped up corpse..... just because!

At 1st we fled, smoked round the corner, then Lakshmi told me he thought he saw this very same case at the airport a few hours earlier.... I get impatient, and i figured we were either gonna die.......or not, so i went over and opened it. no bomb, no explosion, just a lot of interest in people who wanted a samsonite suitcase for free....

OK, so now that i've decided i'm leaving Hong Kong, i have this new found urge to blog about everything. So what was a pretty regular night and a not so regular bar (my favorite drinkin' den in HK) ... turned into a photo-tastic-evening. Besides from one absolutely hammered twat who ended up stumbling outta the door soon enough, it was a good night! (click on the link for a map.)
