So, today ended up being a really, really good day! Woke up, and the weather was stunning, so i showered, got dressed, and went up to the roof for my morning ciggie. 

Still half asleep and no make-up....

Milo hadn't quite woken up yet either.

Terror came and joined the party

Joey conveniently let me know he wanted to go for a walk.

I'm gonna miss the view from my roof.

So later on me and the boys went into town ...

Milo was not going anywhere near the cows..... at all..... ever! (I'm always suprized at how such a small dog can have such a strong pull.)

These are either super intelligent cows (crossing at the sign), or this just happens to be a very fortunate photo! 

So after a tasty meal, Ross headed off to Mong Kok to buy some toy stuff (he customizes toys....i never quite follow what's going on!)

And i went home and made these...

A little birdie once told me....

Ok so i am officially up to date, present and accounted for, no longer lagging behind on my blog! Pretty easy day, started out with this pretty sweet piece which was fun to do!



Again, hard time getting a good pic, it's almost like now we have wallpaper, my camera hates me. i've been bouncing the flash off everything imaginable, including a few people's retina's (*SORRY!*) and i just cant seem to figure out what's going on.

We r gonna get a mate with a good camera (and camera skills, mad skills i tell you) to get some nice shots of the brand spanking new looking studio now all the renovations r done. (i say all the renovations r done, but i lie) We, well THEY ran outta wallpaper so we still have one wall that needs doing, but pfff, thats a piece of cake eh? well, it will be when the shop gets more wallpaper in stock!

Cool, it's 9:30 and i'm done for the day, wow super early. Anyone want a walk in? I'll be here til half ten! HURRY!

hula hips

So my laptop almost died AGAIN today, so i was flicking through my files seeing what i would have lost....and now i think about it.....not backing anything up still! anyways, came across this quick sketch/watercolour i did a while back that i never posted.



so here ya go, the huge hipped "ukulady". p.s i am now the proud owner of a pink flying V ukulele. it's so awesome! if ya dont believe me, swing by the studio, it's displayed proudly, and if ur unlucky enough, you might walk in on me attempting to practice playing!

magnum mentality

so a good 4 or so hours and a shirt later (why do i wear light clothes to work when they ALWAYS get ruined?) and you end up with this :

I forced myself to use a magnum for the whole thing, and i'm sure to most ppl who tattoo that means nothing, and it's kinda a "so what?".....but to me it's like, "OH MY GOD!".
let me explain...... see..... i dont use mag's. ever. really.

i think if anything it took me a little longer than if i were using my normal textured 14 rounds, but .... i'm gonna keep at it.
10 trillion points to my customer for sitting like a champ, i'm glad i got it all finished in one shot. and i'm glad i have something to blog about other than my back (which is now in agony by the way! i love bending at a 90 degree angle for long periods of time) but it's all gravy baby. I'm getting it all realigned again 2morrow, so who cares eh?!

So here are the paintings i said i was gonna post before my back pretty much broke.





(went to get my back "realigned". i can at least walk now, and go up and down stairs albeit sloooooooowly, and only took one day off work so nothing got too messed up. gotta go get it "realigned" like 4 more times before it's "stable" apparantly!)

the good news is that my chiropractor was very impressed with my shoes! 10 points for me.

Anyways, just about to leave work for some TACOS! oh yeah, and my 4 o clock a doodle doo appointment for tomorrow cancelled today so i got some more time to paint, or maybe fiddle about with a gig poster i may or not be doing . more on that tomorrow, or not. (i'm not trying to be mysterious, i just dont wanna say i'm doing the poster until i AM doing the poster if ya catch my drift.

dog on my back

so i gots me a chihuahua on me back and i'm about to go home, and suddenly the skies opened and no other than......rain came out. (i have to admit, i was a little disappointed after all this talk of these guys coming soon)

anyways, rain..... i dont tend to mind it, but right now i seem to b wearing the most absorbent outfit ever known to man.... so i figured i'd waste a little time. YOUR TIME! sorry! i cant stop apologising for these lame ass recent blogs.

anyways, i did a weird version of che today, and other stuff nnnnn now i'm just wasting time., 

by the way did u know all my favorite singers stole all my favorite lines?! I KNOW! WRONG!!!

so hopefully i'll post something half decent soon!

Eskimos and underwear

So been busy trying to get this canvas ready. It's for an upcoming exhibition here in H.K. A bunch of tattooers are gonna paint a load to show, and I was asked to do the one for the press release. So, it's FINALLY done. I never seemed to have enough hours in the day. 10 points for effort though.
I'll post a pic once it's out around town.
Yesterday was friggin freezing, but the show went on. Shepherds the weak played at the ferry pier, cops only came 3 times, all was swell i tell ya.
