magnum mentality

so a good 4 or so hours and a shirt later (why do i wear light clothes to work when they ALWAYS get ruined?) and you end up with this :

I forced myself to use a magnum for the whole thing, and i'm sure to most ppl who tattoo that means nothing, and it's kinda a "so what?".....but to me it's like, "OH MY GOD!".
let me explain...... see..... i dont use mag's. ever. really.

i think if anything it took me a little longer than if i were using my normal textured 14 rounds, but .... i'm gonna keep at it.
10 trillion points to my customer for sitting like a champ, i'm glad i got it all finished in one shot. and i'm glad i have something to blog about other than my back (which is now in agony by the way! i love bending at a 90 degree angle for long periods of time) but it's all gravy baby. I'm getting it all realigned again 2morrow, so who cares eh?!

So here are the paintings i said i was gonna post before my back pretty much broke.





(went to get my back "realigned". i can at least walk now, and go up and down stairs albeit sloooooooowly, and only took one day off work so nothing got too messed up. gotta go get it "realigned" like 4 more times before it's "stable" apparantly!)

the good news is that my chiropractor was very impressed with my shoes! 10 points for me.

Anyways, just about to leave work for some TACOS! oh yeah, and my 4 o clock a doodle doo appointment for tomorrow cancelled today so i got some more time to paint, or maybe fiddle about with a gig poster i may or not be doing . more on that tomorrow, or not. (i'm not trying to be mysterious, i just dont wanna say i'm doing the poster until i AM doing the poster if ya catch my drift.

I aint got anything to post today. Yesterday my back went again, and i managed to do all the pieces i had booked in but had to reschedule todays appointments. Taking it easy today and got an appointment with a chiropractor tomorrow before work. This is getting to be way too regular an occurrence...

So I always hate tattooing other people in the industry, with their beady eyes n stuff. ! But the last 2 artists i worked on were super sweet and got stuff that i enjoyed tattooing so much that i totally forgot they weren't just an appendage......sounds weird but i promise it's a good thing!

So here's a piece i got to do on Brandi, a tattooist from Canada i met in Singapore at the convention. Was a sweet piece to do (once i finally got the bloody stencil on perfect )I get a bit obsessive about spacing when i'm fitting stuff between other stuff!

So i finally got it all pasted together on photoshop so u can see it in it's full glory. Taking a few days off over Chinese New Year which will be a nice break from the shop. Although i gotta draw all the tattoos for the end of the week still so we'll see if i'm not in the shop half the time!

 I need to get a proper desk at home coz it's starting to bug me like no tomorrow. All's i got is a teeny tiny computer desk or the dining room table which is carved wood so it ain't flat. not even close. well, not flat enough to draw on coz i gotta have like 5 meters squared for all my stuff to be strewn out and before u know it u'll be half way through a nice clean line, ur paper will shift and BAM! you put your pen through the paper coz of the fancy shmancy carving. 

Got 2 paintings finished yesterday coz i ended up being at work 15 hours straight! so while ross got tattooed i had some time to kill. I'm all the better for it! i'll post the paintings either later tonight or when i'm back at work on thursday.

so i gots me a chihuahua on me back and i'm about to go home, and suddenly the skies opened and no other than......rain came out. (i have to admit, i was a little disappointed after all this talk of these guys coming soon)

anyways, rain..... i dont tend to mind it, but right now i seem to b wearing the most absorbent outfit ever known to man.... so i figured i'd waste a little time. YOUR TIME! sorry! i cant stop apologising for these lame ass recent blogs.

anyways, i did a weird version of che today, and other stuff nnnnn now i'm just wasting time., 

by the way did u know all my favorite singers stole all my favorite lines?! I KNOW! WRONG!!!

so hopefully i'll post something half decent soon!

scripta doodle doo

so here's some recent script i did....

 fancied posting a blog and the only other things i had to post were from singapore, or need to be photoshopped together coz u cant see the whole tattoo in one pic. this will make sense when i post the butterfly~ ! anyways, quick post between customers and a quick chance to recap the mountains filled with the fruit of knowledge that have recently been passed down through countless generations of hardened blogger royalty.

the best news of all is that i got some more work done on my thigh piece. i'll post a pic as soon as i get my grubby hands on one for your eternal viewing pleasure. i cant wait til i get that piece finished. its gonna be the sistine chapel of my skin i tell ya!
